Navigating Life's Obstacles - A Lesson and a Testimony!

If we are all honest with ourselves, many of us hate any kind of obstacles we have to face in life. Obstacles make us extremely uncomfortable and no one likes to be uncomfortable, right? We want things to be comfortable and easy. However, I've learned that without a certain amount of discomfort (sometimes a lot of discomfort) you just can't grow. Because life is all about your perception, let's examine this from a different angle. If you never encounter the wrong people, be it business or personal relationships, how will you know who is right for you? If you never ever get overwhelmed or stressed out, how will you learn what your boundaries and limitations are? If you never ever experience any amount of discomfort in life, how  will you know what makes you comfortable? As a crazy as it may seem, in order to create your best self and the world you love to live in, you must first accept that life comes with obstacles and discomfort. After you accept that, you must change your perception of life. Instead of resisting or running from obstacles and seeing them as just a really horrible inconvenience, try to find meaning in them. Life is not just about perception; it's also about learning. Every good experience and every obstacle provides you with opportunities to discover what you need in order to become your best self!

The 5-Star Lifestyle Blueprint: The 4 Steps Every Woman Needs to Create the Life She Desire

You've said it. Every year. "This year is going to be my best year ever!" In January, you are tickled pink about how fabulous your year is going                                                                to be, but by March life and its challenges begin to take hold of you. You fall back into those habits that don't serve you. By June, you've

reverted to what's comfortable, even if it isn't working. By September, you try to recover the "fabulous" year you proclaimed in January. Then in       January, the cycle of insanity starts all over again. Don't let this year be a repeat of years gone by. You will never get the results you desire, by         doing the same ol' stuff that hasn't worked for you in the past. Get motivated, inspired, and learn some key implementation strategies to "Make       Every Year Your Best Year," because it's not enough to know what to do — you've got to do it, no matter what.
